Sally has loved fabric, color and design from an early age, sewing and quilting most of her life. Both of her grandmothers and her mother were seamstresses and quilters as well. Her passion for color, design and creating is brought to life at All Occasions Quilting.
The desire to create a special and lasting keepsake that meets each customer’s expectations and satisfaction blends with her attention to detail and careful craftsmanship to set her quilts and quilting apart.
In addition to running All Occasions Quilting, Sally spends time quilting for a children’s charity, loves the outdoors, gardening, biking and traveling anywhere with husband Ed (who often visits museums while she visits fabric stores). When home, she also enjoys the company of their two sons, two daughter-in-law’s and two young granddaughters.
Praise from our clients:
"I bought material in the Netherlands that was very special to me for my newest granddaughter. Sally helped me pick out the perfect variegated thread and design. She was so patient throughout the process, showing me how different threads would look with the fabric. She is a perfectionist and it shows! The finished quilt is being used and enjoyed and I am thrilled with it. This was the first quilt I have had quilted by machine, but it will not be the last now that I know about Sally’s skill." ~ Jenny
“My daughter's t-shirts all have special meaning to her so I was hesitant to send them to anyone, but those concerns vanished when I saw the finished quilt. Your workmanship and turn-around time exceeded my expectations. You created a beautiful keepsake for my daughter. I will definitely contact you again when she is ready to put her college t's into a quilt!" ~ Becky
